Has said that the three-day special polio campaign in the district will start from January 24. The district administration has decided to take strict measures for the success of the campaign. The meeting was also attended by SSP Operations Amir Khan Niazi and Health Department officials.  Deputy Commissioner Amir Karim Khan said that 2991 teams of health department would vaccinate children under 5 years of age while teams would also be present at hospitals, dispensaries, buses, wagon stands and railway stations. Aamir Karim Khan said that corona vaccination will also continue during the polio campaign. Giving a briefing on the occasion, CEO of Health Dr. Shoaib Gormani said that in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus, a special door-to-door campaign has been launched by the health department under SOPs and modern methods to eradicate polio. Dated will run  The Department of Health urges the public to get their children under the age of five vaccinated against polio by this special polio campaign dated 24th to 28th January and get rid of lifelong disability and if for any reason get vaccinated. If left unchecked, your child must be vaccinated against polio at an immunization center or nearby health center.
